Recent Projects Across Maryland: From Storm Restoration to Home Transformations
No two projects are exactly alike, and that's one of the things we enjoy most at AHI Roofing & Remodeling. Over the past several weeks, our crews have been helping homeowners restore damaged properties, improve energy efficiency, and transform living spaces throughout Maryland.
Here's a look at some of the recent projects we've completed.
Restoring a Home After Fire Damage
One of our recent insurance restoration projects involved a home that sustained significant damage after a vehicle fire. Working directly through the insurance process, we replaced the damaged siding on both the home and garage while also repairing the asphalt driveway.
The project included:
- CertainTeed MainStreet vinyl siding
- New house wrap and weather barrier
- New soffit, fascia, trim, and exterior accessories
- Driveway repairs and full seal coating
- Complete cleanup and restoration

Improving Energy Efficiency with Attic Insulation
Not every project is visible from the curb, but some make a huge difference in comfort and energy savings.
For one homeowner, we upgraded the attic insulation by installing new Styrofoam baffles, improving the attic hatch, and adding cellulose insulation to bring the attic up to an R-49 value.
The homeowner noticed the difference immediately and left us this review:

Premium Roofing System with Tamko Titan Shingles
Another recent roofing project featured the installation of a Tamko Titan roofing system on the rear section of the home.

- Reinforced nail line with up to 160 MPH wind resistance
- ABC Synthetic Underlayment
- Ice and Water Shield

- New flashing components and pipe collars
As always, protecting the homeowner's property during construction and leaving a clean jobsite remained a top priority.

Even on a four-story townhouse that required carrying materials up a long ladder, our crew completed the work safely, efficiently, and with attention to detail.
Roofing Project Featuring Skylights and Solar Coordination
Some projects require a little more coordination than others.
Before replacing this homeowner's aging roof, Tesla first removed the home's solar panels. Once everything was ready, our team completed the roof replacement while also installing two new Sun-Tek skylights and two new bathroom roof vents.
The new roofing system features:

- New skylights with Low-E glass

Complete Bathroom Remodel with Walk-In Tub
Bathroom renovations continue to be one of our favorite ways to help homeowners improve both comfort and accessibility.
This remodel included:
- Complete bathroom demolition
- Installation of a new walk-in tub
- New tile flooring
- New vanity, fixtures, toilet, and lighting
- New shower surround
- Fresh paint, trim, and finishing touches
- The homeowner appreciated not only the finished product, but the process as well.

Giving an Old Deck New Life with Trex Composite Decking
Outdoor living spaces are another area where thoughtful upgrades can make a lasting impact.
For this project, we removed the existing deck boards, railings, and steps before rebuilding the surface with Trex Pebble Gray composite decking. The project also included:
- Hidden Trex fastener system
- New white vinyl railings with black balusters
- White PVC fascia and kick plates
- Pressure-treated framing
- New stair construction where needed
- This homeowner had trusted us before, making this another repeat customer project.
